This Siberian label has advertised itself with the kind of confidence one might expect from a Moscow project! Among its artists are some leading lights of modern Russian electronic music. The people at Electronica are also on good terms with practically all the important representatives of Moscow’s club and techno scenes, too. They put out podcasts, releases, and manage all manner of events. We is a wonderful example of how digital technology can bring together people who live in different time zones and, we must admit, very different cities. Ребята познакомились в 2008 году, на одной из самых шумных с[...] Один прожил не мало лет у реки белой, второй у моря черного – именно это и является фактом в появлении названия проекта River’n’Sea, в состав которого входят Саша Хижняков и Дима Яковлев. Ребята познакомились в 2008 году, на одной из самых шумных серий вечеринок «Freak Me» проводимых в г. Иркутске. Саша тогда занимался радиошоу и выпускал сетевые релизы своего лейбла Electronica, Дима же активно выступал с ди-джей сетами. Встретить их вдвоем можно было периодически за вертушками клуба Zima Project, резидентами которого они являлись. После вечеринки Electronica Labelnight 1.0, ребята принимают решение дать своему дуэту имя и уже следующий свой ди-джей сет отыгрывают как «River’n’Sea». Летом 2009 года, параллельно с выступлениями, ребята стали уделять время для совместных экспериментов в написании собственных треков. По истечению трех месяцев, первые работы получают поддержку от Tiefschwartz, Matt Star, Franco Bianco, Nooncat aka Alex Meshkov, Pheek, Electric Indigo, Flavio Lodetti, Jamy Wing, Adam Port, Philogresz, Alex Danilov, Andrey Zots, Luca Ricci, Sebastian Koch, Carlo Lio, Ben Anders, Dualism, Mollono.Bass, Einmusk, Stephan Bodzin, Aka Aka, Mihalis Safras, Brothers Vibe, Hanne & Lore, Paco Osuna, Florian Schirmacher. После чего последовало подписание бумаг с лейблами Darek (Швейцария), Cimelde (Румыния), Aenaria (Италия), Damm (Германия), Baile Musik (Хорватия), Blumenbeat (Украина), Herz ist Trumpf (Германия) and others.. Сейчас ребята живут в Москве, все так же продолжая выступать и вести активную студийную работу над своими будущими релизами и ремиксами. С недавнего времени являются резидентами RTS.FM, а также частыми гостями клубов столицы: Shanti, Paparazzi Bar, Minibar, Gazgolder, Vozhduh, Arma17 и других. Участники фестивалей: Ultramusic, Ferma, Digital Act, Experience Festival. In Summer 2009, simultaneously with performances, the guys began to write joint tracks. 3 months later their first works received support from Tiefschwartz, Matt Star, Franco Bianco, Nooncat aka Alex Meshkov, Pheek, Electric Indigo, Flavio Lodetti, Jamy Wing, Adam Port, Philogresz, Alex Danilov, Andrey Zots, Luca Ricci, Sebastian Koch, Carlo Lio, Ben Anders, Dualism, Mollono.Bass, Einmusk. Later on there followed the signing of first contracts with labels Darek (Switzerland), Cimelde (Romania), Aenaria (Italy), Damm Records (Germany), Baile Musik (Croatia), Blumenbeat (the Ukraine), Herz ist Trumpf (Germany) and others. In December 2009 the guys moved to Moscow where they became RTS.FM residents and frequent guests of such clubs as Shanti, Paparazzi, Minibar, Gazgolder, Vozduh, Arma17 and other.
