This Siberian label has advertised itself with the kind of confidence one might expect from a Moscow project! Among its artists are some leading lights of modern Russian electronic music. The people at Electronica are also on good terms with practically all the important representatives of Moscow’s club and techno scenes, too. They put out podcasts, releases, and manage all manner of events. We is a wonderful example of how digital technology can bring together people who live in different time zones and, we must admit, very different cities. Коллекционируя винил, экспериментировал с различными музыкальными направлениями, но серьёзное увлечение techno пришло после того, как в его руках оказалась пластинка – «Wighnomy Brothers & Robag Wruhme – Polytikk Ep», глубокое звучание и динамика которой, в буквальном смысле, перевернули все его ранние представления о музыке. В 2006 году Лега становится резидентом московского радио DeepMix, и одноименных вечеринок в клубах Мix и Paparazzi Bar. Вплоть до 2009 года со студий Cartoon и Cotton ведутся еженедельные интернет трансляции сетов с его участием. В настоящее время Лега является организатором вечеринок «Tech It Easy» в клубе Солянка и основателем российско-швейцарского лэйбла 237 Family Records. Ikonnikov Oleg was born in Moscow. He started his professional work with electronic music in 2001. Collecting vinyl records, he started to experiment with different music directions, but the serious interest to techno music came to him after the record «Wighnomy Brothers & Robag Wruhme – Polytikk Ep» got in his hands. Deep sounds and dynamics of this record just turned over all his earlier impressions about music in the literal sense. Lega becomes the resident of one Moscow radio station DeepMix in 2006, and also of the parties of the same name in such clubs as «Mix» and «Paparazzi Bar». Right up to 2009 are led weekly internet translations of sets with his participation from the Cartoon and Cotton studios.
